Music Recording Career

Music Recording Career
After all iMac or PC? (for recording and music production)?

I am planning to use the new iMac with Intel CPU for recording music. I read all the comments on it in the network, but none was specifically about "Music Recording point of view." I need to know exactly how to switch from a PC to Mac to help me with my music career. I know that most professional musicians stick with the Mac, but why??

There are all sorts of reasons. If you do something with MIDI, Mac just works. Usually not have to deal with the drivers. Mac tend to be more intuitive and easier to try to gear types. The whole setup works seamlessly CoreAudio. They rarely crash. A lot of music software was originally designed for the Mac platform, so some business versions of Windows and support are sub par. How do I change to help you with your career? Depends on you. To be honest, if you know what you're doing with the tools we have, then there is nothing better. You could do file sharing as easy. But if you can do the things that has to do with a PC, the change does not bother me for that reason. Although, I recommend Macs to almost any computer buyer. Personally, I had never used a Mac until I bought one (at the same time I started using the recording software) and now I'ma convert. I would not buy anything else. All you use is running smoothly, and make their work. So I guess, if it is not broke, do not fix it. I have a PowerBook G4 now, eventually you'll probably get a laptop from Intel. If I was to have a TDM system, I would get a tower, but I think by the time I got the money in cash, a dedicated processing system will fall behind native systems. Personally, the iMac is not my style. They are very elegant, but for me it is portability, or total energy. If I was buying a computer just for household had definitely go for the iMac. My suggestion to you would be using a Mac for a while. Preferably with the tools and software you're using with her. If you like to go better. If not, ….. then you might be crazy …. Hehehe
